Bio Pierre L’ego

Mr Pierre L’ego is a mysterious figure in our town. Living in a loft above Chez Albert few people ever see this elusive painter. I have it on good authority though that he is in fact Pete L’ego long lost son of our illustrious Mayor Arnold. When the mayor and his wife Joan divorced some years ago Pete went to live with her in Paris while his younger brother Mick stayed with the mayor. While in France Pete became an accomplished painter and quickly made a name for himself – at least my art source tells me he did. But it turns out that the apple does not fall far from the tree as they say. It is rumoured that in his spare time he was creating forgeries and selling them to unsuspecting buyers. I suspect that is why he suddenly turned up back here a few months ago to renovate an old warehouse into the towns art gallery.
