The Chocolate Incident
A new day and a new project, Santa delivered a 4.5Kg bar of Toblerone..............

Todays mission is to work out how to break it into smaller pieces. So, the team were called back from their holidays with the promise of plenty of food and lots of tea. Here we see Foreman Fred giving one of his 4 hour long motivational speeches, you can imagine that after 4 hours of eating and drinking tea there will not be too much work done. It was odd that the invite to the project only went out to 6 staff, yet 19 turned up for the free food and drink!. Fred is annoyed because someone has 'borrowed' his prized yellow safety hat, not wanting to accuse anyone he has asked for them to discretely return it!

Work starts..... well, for some of them anyway!
Considering 19 of them took advantage of the food fest, when the real work actually starts only 4 could be found.
After a full days work it was obvious that hand tools were not going to have much impact. This is hard stuff, made of 'chocolatanium', one of the most dangerous substances known to man, freely available and so addictive!
Billy 'the Brush' was happy as he had little to do and could easily take a 'comfort break' (aka Tea Break) without anyone noticing.
A few of his friends had already mastered this art!
Time for Power Tools!!!!
The JackHammers, Drills and Power Saws were brought in. Fred was seen clutching the safety instructions, in the case of an accident he would show them the instructions so at least he could say they had seen/read them!
A few hours later and the going was so slooooowwww. Apparently the chocolatanium melts and gums up the power tool blades, etc.
Billy the Brush was doing an excellent job, constantly sweeping up the broken shards, nobody knew where he was putting them but one of his friends mentioned that he had 'WeightWatchers' on speed dial!"

Oh Oh! What could possibly go wrong!
Over a 'Brian'storming session, Brian came up with the idea of using Dynamite, as he had watched a Youtube video he was seen as the expert so went ahead. By now Fred was concerned that his safety instructions were just not going to be enough! Baby could be seen delivering the explosives in his bright new mini digger, gurgling the words 'boom boom' all the way! |
In a statement from foreman Fred, he mentioned that Brian was usually in possession of a couple of bottles of 'drink' and was at that point starting to doubt his self confessed expert level!
Well, that didnt quite go to plan, all we ended up with was chocolatanium dust everywhere! Billy the Brush and Baby soon made that disappear though. The team decided it was time for another cuppa while Fred looked over the safety thingy just to be sure. Meanwhile Brian was in his usual 'Advising Chair' when he suddenly proclaimed that he just had another 'Brianwave'. He knew a 'friend' that might be able to help, so, after watching another training video on how to use a phone he called him......
Lots of 'smashing' went on and finally we were making headway. This shouldn't take long at all! I could have saved the wages of 6 (19) workers if Brian had brought his friend along earlier. After being rescued the safety inspector then managed to get his legs embedded in the slab, more 'hazard' than 'inspector'!
|
And so the big clean-up began. Billy seemed to have gone off chocolatanium for a while so just brushed it into the two JCB's. A few seemed to think that now was an ideal time for a cuppa!!!!
Brian obviously need a new 'Advisors' chair and by this point the boss needed a well earned sit down. Frustrated at how slow the cleanup was going the friend' pitched in. |

Party time!!!
Some of the crew decided a party was in order, even Fred helped by sweeping the shards as close as possible to Baby and decided to dump the safety instructions for the time being. Brian again found the best seat in the house.
A good time was had by all, and they were now looking forward to working on the other 11 pieces!
