Rosie Grady is the daughter of Clare & Reg L’ego who used to own the little cafe off the park. When she was a young girl she visited the city to see the Lego museum and whilst there met dad. It was love at first sight. Rosie is my mum. Dad is a truck driver and due to the work is often away for months at a time. She found looking after me and my brother Ted (who you've met at the cafe) quite the handful but when my little sister Sam was coming along the decision was made to come back to Lego Planet.
Although technically the only B&B in Lego Planet, it is still the best place to stay when you visit here. When Grandma Clare & Grandpa Reg won the lottery, they bought a big yacht – The Dolphin – and embarked on a nautical retirement. As we had grown up and left on our own brief adventures at college and the city, she decided to open the B & B so she wasn’t so lonely. It is a fabulous place, clean and well decorated. Lit with state of the art lighting and very comfortable beds – I know first-hand! Breakfast is included in the stay and if you’re willing to eat whatever is made you can join us for dinner too. All in all it’s the best accommodation in town! Rosie was stood on the steps to her house talking to Leo the postman. 'More bills I'm afraid Rosie.' She just smiled at him, 'Not to worry Leo dear. I've got some visitors coming for the grand opening of the art gallery this weekend. I'm sure it will attract more people once our Larry has covered it in his paper.' She waved at me and Leo did too. That's my mum, always positive. I can see the first of her visitors laden with bags walking down the street. I had better go and help!
