Born in the city to Rosie and Arthur Grady. Ted grew up with a love of food from all over the world. At the age of 10 he became big brother to Larry (yes me folks!). But sadly when his father died unexpectedly a few years later, his mum Rosie moved back to L’ego Village to be with her parents. This was a terrible prospect for Ted. No more chance to try new cuisine or even eat all the strange things like Aubergine that he had come across in the city. Soon after the move Teds sister Sam was born and every moment he could he spent out of the house. The move to L’ego Village was not such a bad thing for Ted as his grandparents owned a small cafe beside a patch of threadbare grass where all the kids played. Ted grew quickly in confidence and stature. When he was not out with the local gang he was in the cafes kitchen or helping out by serving the customers. When his grandparents retired, Ted took over the business full time. He has never looked back.
